One of the project’s key gestures is the removal of an existing floor slab, replaced by a new one at the same level as the living room. This move opens up and extends the ground floor, creating a single, uninterrupted, fluid space. At its heart stands the kitchen island—more than a functional object, it becomes a dynamic core, a natural meeting point that redefines how the space is used.
